Today's show focused on the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi. First we spoke about the historic center of the city. Next, Marcus enthused about Vietnamese food, and explained why he thinks Hanoi should be THE number one destination on every gourmet's itinerary. He also talked about Stickyrice, the fantastic food blog.

Need a place to stay? The Church Hotel, a 2 star on Nha Tho Street has been getting good reviews and is well priced at $55 per night.

Northern Vietnam isn't short on things to do. You can wander along the banks of Hon Kiem lake, take a ride out to Halong Bay or perhaps to Sapa, near the border with Laos. In Hanoi, check out Dong Xuan Market and the New Century Nightclub.

Once again, we want to thank the band Clouseaux, Jules Nerve and the Podsafe Music Network for the show's soundtrack.

On today's show we talked about Wcities Pod Cityguides and how the iPod is now being used for much more than simply listening to the latest Lindsay Lohan song.

We then turned our attention to Tokyo, and discussed some of our favorite shops (BicCamera), restaurants/bars (Kagaya, Ninja, The Gyoza Stadium) and places (Sundays on Harajuku's Omotesando-dori, Ikebukuro's Earthquake simulator, Tsukiji fishmarket).

To learn more about ryokans in Tokyo, try the Japan Ryokan Association.

The music you heard on today's show came from the band Clouseaux  and Jules Nerve courtesy of the Podsafe Music Network.
